i'm reading this wonderful book, blink, by malcolm gladwell, all about the instant decisions we make. i love it. i think he's a wonderful writer, and his other book, the tipping point, is one of my favorites.

his articles in the new yorker are usually my favorites--i loved the one about french fries a few years ago, and another about ketchup this year. this one about plagiarism was interesting, too.
